Who We Are
As an experience health and safety consultant and IRCA Principal H&S Auditor Nuala specialises in the development and management of Safety Management Systems such as BS OHSAS 18001 and sector specific schemes such as Safe-T-Cert for our Clients.
Nuala’s career has seen her working within the ship building, engineering, quarrying, railway, construction and more recently oil and gas industries. Her extensive project experience ensures that Nuala can provide practical on site health and safety assistance and advise across all levels of a project from concept to completion. Further her site based project experience is reflected within her delivery of practical training such as manual handling and abrasive wheel operators training. Nuala has over 10 years’ experience in the preparation and delivery of various courses aimed at delegates attaining a globally recognised health, safety and risk management qualification such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety and the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Additionally Nuala has been delivering IOSH courses designed for Supervisors, Middle Management and Senior Executives alike as well as CITB accredited courses such as Safety for Site Supervisors, Risk Assessment and Accident Investigation in addition to bespoke operative’s courses.
Nuala has a Master of Social Science Degree from the School of Education, Queens University, Belfast – Work based Learning (Occupational Safety and Health) as well as holding the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Parts 1 & 2.
She is Chartered Member of IOSH; an IRCA registered Principal (H&S) Auditor and an OHSCR Registered Consultant.
Harry is a seasoned manager with strong leadership, negotiating and diplomacy skills having managed numerous multi-disciplined trades on various offshore, onshore, railway and mainstream construction projects. His extensive project experience ensures that Harry can provide practical advice to our Clients in the effective management of temporary works in particular within his specialist field of scaffolding.
In addition to the development and management of safety management systems for our Clients, Harry also deliveries various CITBNI grant aided training courses such as Scaffolding for Contractors, System Scaffolding for Housebuilders, Aluminium Towers and Scaffolding for Supervisors as well as Client specific and bespoke training courses.
Additionally Harry provides various project specific services such as;• Project Planning including the development and review of project specific construction phase plans or interface documents and supporting HSE documentation • Liaison with Clients / Project Safety Personnel, insurers and the HSE as is necessary • Implementation and maintenance of arrangements for the effective management of sub-contractors • Development, implementation and participation in internal auditing programmes • Liaison with Project Management to ensure the implementation and adherence to Project HSE Plans • Supporting Project management with the risk management process including assistance with the development, review and amendment of general and legislative specific risk assessments, safe working procedures and safe systems of work • Lead incident investigations • Monitoring Project HSE performance through site inspections, trend analysis and KPI’s • Qualitative face fit testing • Attendance at key Company and Project HSE meetings • Preparation and delivery of project specific inductions and project / company specific training courses • Advising Project Management of current legislative and industry best practice requirements and informing them of relevant technical advancements.
Harry holds the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and is a Graduate Member of IOSH.
